RACIAL EQUITY AT SJNC

Welcome to St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center's

internal Racial Equity & Justice Initiative (REJI) page

If you are looking for the community-wide REJI initiative, it is now known as INTERRUPT RACISM and is being administered by the Urban League of Rochester.  To go to this site, please click here.

At St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, we know that racism makes people sick

In 2016, the Center helped to initiate a community wide process that sought to help organizations explore institutional and structural racism more deeply.  We know that racism makes people sick and so addressing it in our organizations, our personal lives and in our wider society is crucial to becoming a healthy community.  The Center has continued to reflect on the work that we all need to do and welcome you to be part of our learning community!
