HOW TO HELP

How to Help St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center

At its heart, St. Joseph's is a grassroots organization. That's why we can accomplish so much with so little. And that's also why every person's contribution makes such a great impact. Every skill, every volunteer hour, every dollar makes a difference.

Volunteer at the Center

Because the un-insured and underinsured population continues to grow in our area, so does the need for our services. We need your support to continue our work. Health care providers, therapists, those with administrative skills, committee and special events volunteers are always welcome. See our volunteer page at www.sjncenter.org/volunteer to download and complete an application.

Other ways you can help the Center

  • United Way: St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center is a United Way Donor Option Agency #2017. Please ask your coordinator for a donor option form and list 2017 as an investment in the Center.

  • Remember or Honor a loved one or a friend with a memorial gift or gift in honor of someone to St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center.

  • Civic and social clubs/organizations have charitable giving programs which make donations to organizations. Inquire with your organization to see if they have this type of giving opportunity available.

  • Church Tithing: Does your place of worship have a tithing program? You, as a parishioner, could also sponsor a one-time parish collection for the Center.

  • Consider St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center in your will: Contact your legal or financial advisor to include SJNC in your will. Through this donation, you will become a member of the Center's Evergreen Society, ensuring St Joseph's will be here to serve those in need for years to come.

  • Consider a Restricted Gift: You can designate your gift to a specific program of the Center, such as our Medical program, our Counseling and Community Works program, etc. Just indicate this desire when you send in your donation.

  • Current Wish List: Take a look at our current wish list, to see what our patients, clients and community members are in need of. We are always in need of everyday items and travel-sized toiletries.
